The new eVAC Dry Sack is a slimmed down version of our award winning eVENT Compression Dry Sack. We use waterproof, air permeable eVENT fabric on the base for valve-free air expelling, allowing compact packing. The sack is oval-shaped, rather than round so they resist rolling when laid on their side.

They open large to 74 X 27 inches. Light enough for everyone to carry while traveling or hiking. We do not recommend a lighter silk as they lose strength and will not last. Likewise for mummy liners - there is no real benefit in using a mummy liner to save less than one ounce. A rectangular blend sleeping bag liner is far more versatile and is completely unnoticeable in a mummy bag as the blend is so slick that it moves well with you regardless the size of your sleeping bag. We have thousands of nights experience in this and have sold our liner for many years, all over the world. Ours are generous in size but still lightweight and designed to work well in any sleeping bag. It is stitched to last for many years when cared for properly.

Functional Design® Summer sleeping bag Doubler will turn your single-person mummy bag into a roomy bag for two people. The Doubler allows you to create your own custom sleeping system: just zip the doubler into your current mummy bag and you only have to pack one sleeping bag. The Doubler provides almost five feet across the shoulders and hips and then tapers down to your shared foot-box. The Doubler can be used either on top of, or underneath your bag (an especially nice combination if you are using a down sleeping bag). Also, you can zip the Doubler into itself for a perfect child-size sleeping bag or bivy. The Summer Doubler was designed for bicyclists, kayakers, rock-climbers, backpackers, and families who love camping. The Summer Doubler is made with a full-length 70" YKK #8 coil separating zipper, 50 denier Ripstop Nylon, a single layer of Polarguard 3D insulation, and built in draft tubes along the zipper. The result is a highly compressible pie that is lightweight, breathable, absorbs little moisture and retains loft even when wet. The Sweetie Pie is easily stored and laundered, and is non-allergenic and mildew resistant. IMPORTANT UPDATED 2009 Compatibility issues: the Doubler is compatible with many mummy style sleeping bags made between 2000-2008 using a full-length YKK #8 coil separating zipper; this includes bags from Sierra Designs, North Face, Marmot, REI, and North Face.
